About us

otiumFX is basically an one-man project run by yours truly (Rune Lund-Hermansen, Denmark). However, most products are being developed closely surrounded by fellow musicians, producers, sound engineers and coders.

Being an independent developer I have the freedom to be very selective about the projects I commit to. The philosophy is to only develop projects that we ourselves really want to use in our own creative work, and then make no compromise in the development. We don't really care about what the average users prefer, instead we simply just do it the way we like (and then hope others like too). No doubt, that will often lead to products focused on a very narrow share of customers, but that's the whole point...not to just please the masses, but to truly excite a few dedicated users.

So otiumFX is about producing instruments and effects with distinct character and personality.

You either hate it... or love it.
